Watch Now: Built for Speed

An inside look at how a small Canadian bike company rebuilt its downhill team from scratch, designed an all-new race bike, and set its sights on becoming a top-three World Cup team.

For Built for Speed: The Making of Team DH, Norco gave us full access to the people behind its downhill program, from World Cup winner Gracey Hemstreet and team director Greg Minnaar to the engineers and mechanics building the bikes. What we found was a small Canadian company chasing an audacious goal: becoming a top-three World Cup team against brands many times its size. This is the inside story of the people trying to pull it off, and the race bike they designed to get there.

We went in to make a film about a race bike. What we found was a company rediscovering who it is and daring to take some big risks. Building this bike pulled everyone together, from the riders to the engineers to the mechanics. We wanted to show everything it took to get it there.
